It's a first for me. I figured something needed to be done to get to seeing something during daylight hours. I hunted this stand yesterday and it looks like there was a big deer orgy here since I left at dark. 50 pounds of corn is gone and 3 fresh scrapes within 50 yard radius.

In my office, decided since the son and grandkids were heading back this morning I'd see them off.
Went outside on the back porch and looked down the road to the woods and was greeted by 3 does feeding.
I felt like that lion in the commercial with the gazelles with night vision.

It was the same three I saw yesterday morning on the way to the stand. They have gotten as close as 150 yards from my back porch.

I wish I was sitting all day today. I pretty much did that yesterday in the windstorm. I've got to get back home and lean my truck up today, as I'm trading it in tomorrow. Hope to be on the road by 11.

Entirely too hungover to hunt this morning...brother killed the first trophy of the year inside the fence yesterday so we were celebrating. The 12 pt I'm after lives to see another day. Good luck fellas
