I shot an 8 point at five yards. He spun and went To a thick cutover. I backed out and gonna find him tommorow. Not a giant but at five yard he looked beautiful in a little stare off. Wish me luck outdoor board brothers.

Good luck on recovery, but there's no way in hell i'd be at home waiting for daylight especially if the weather is ok....hope to see pics in the a.m.

It doesn't matter how hot it is, a deer shot in the evening will last most of tomorrow. If you get it on ice by noon in 95 degree heat it will still be good. Been there done that!

Found him!!!!! No blood arrow stuck in him. It was needle in a haystack search in the thick cutover. I saw a piece of white and went look and saw horns. A basket rack seven point. Processor said the meat would be fine.
