I just purchased this property near Silver Creek. Walking the property I found several scrapes and plenty of sign. Looking forward to years of good times here.

Congratulations on your new place. There is nothing like owning your own land. We enjoy the heck out of it.
Can you teach me how to make jambalaya?

I wish I had some extra $ to buy my own place. Congrats to you!

Looks like plenty of woods adjacent too you. Should be able to kill a few and that’s a big arse plot in the center.

Right around 40 acres?

Congrats on the purchase I know I live having my own place even though my deer hunting leaves allot to be desired.

You can still find the thread. It turned me from being ambivalent to the dish to people asking me to cook it. I gave up on head meat though.

40 acres? I'd bowhunt only, only hunt on one half of it and leave the other half alone. My uncle has about 60 acres that we have done this on and while we don't kill monsters a decent buck and 4 or 5 does come off of it every year.

$2470 an acre but it has 10 year old timber on it.

Thanks. It is a great piece of property. I looked at over a dozen properties and this one always came back to me as the one so I bought it.

Congratulations.

I’ve been looking as well, but seriously yet but that’s only because I haven’t found the right property yet.

I looked for almost a year before I bought mine. Glad I compromised on location with the wife and bought mediocre hunting land but in a good school district as we ended up moving there about a year after purchase.

So, is that about a 3 acre cleared patch in the center of that parcel?

It would be nice to be putting a house right in the middle of it, but getting power that far off the road would be $$$$, along with putting in a decent road to access it.

You're living my dream......

I bought 48 acres to hunt on in Texas 6 years ago. It's surrounded by wooded area, similar to yours. We've had a blast on it over the years and had awesome hunts. We have a bow stand, rifle stand, and duck blind on it.

Congrats, now everyone on the OB knows where your hunting land is.

Should probably black out the road name.

Right by the Georgia Pacific mill. You’ll have some good cover scent in the area! Lol
Congrats on the property.
