The best truck is one with a paid off note.

When I paid mine off a few months ago I briefly flirted with getting a 2014 but after getting used to not having a payment it will be damn hard to pull the trigger on a new one anytime soon. Plus I have pimped mine out like I want it which was done intentionally to help me fight the urge.

That being said, new truck smell is one of the 2 best smells in the world.

Sorry for the thread drift...

They make a $2 air fresher for that.

If you can wait, I would suggest waiting until the 2015's come out later this year. The 2015 is a complete redesign, so I would expect the 2014 prices to get slashed big time when the 2015's start hitting the lots. I would expect 10K mark-offs.

In march we bought a new 2014 ram 3500 longhorn 4x4 with the cummins fully loaded for $56k turn key. 52k for 1500 is absurd.

I purchased a '13 Lariat Supercrew 4x4 about a month or so ago. Sticker was just over $52K and price before TTL was $38.5K (give or take a couple hundred). It was almost $14K off of MSRP. I worked hard for that price.

I imagine you could get a similar deal ($10K-$12K off) on the '14 once the '15s come out.

Truck prices are stressing me out these days. In 08 I bought a 2005 F-150 FX4 for 16k, lifted it 9 inches, and put 37 inch Toyo's with 24 inch XD Monsters on it. Total price was 22k and now I have a beautiful truck.

It's about time to look for a new truck and holy shite, prices are insane. I'm not gonna lift anything again but damn, guess I'll definitely look for something used again. I can't imagine pulling the trigger on something new.

Btw, do prices fluctuate relative to where you live? Here in Polk County trucks are PLENTIFUL. It seems there are deals to be had if one will just put in the work to find em.

Whenever I plan to buy a new truck, I'll definitely look at Dodge. I don't care what company makes the the truck. Best gas mileage, best add ons for the best price.

A friend was shopping and said the Dodges were 10k cheaper than ford or Chevy.

To each his own but I've always been taught you get what you pay for. And dodge and cheap in the same sentence is not so ironic.

Google Mac Haik Ford in Houston. Their no haggle price is about 10k off sticker inc. discounts, ford credit, trade assist, and rebates.
