Friend showed me this, radical hull design I've never seen before. Created by an aerospace engineer.

The pads on the trailer are flat? Good luck getting that boat secured right in harsh conditions

Post it on several more boards so you get a better sample size.

I honestly can't fathom trying to land a 24 foot with a t-top in harsh conditions on to a trailer w flat pads.

My 17' has a flat bottom with flat pads. Luckily I have padding on the inner sides of the trailer fenders that keep me on the trailer. When the current is flowing in the bayou, its a pain getting that thing on straight.

Pretty neat. But I've already decided on my next boat. Ranger Phantom

I've got a ranger banshee extreme for sale if you're interested. Very similar hull design, just a little different layout than the phantom. And its in the houma area

I have a 24 foot champion. I love the pads on the trailer. It's def a guide to get the boat straight. Where I launch at is a tight space that I don't really have a chance to straighten up that early and it's always a crosswind. My t-top is like a kite in that wind

Looks like a Texas style flats boat.

Go look around on one of their forums like 2coolfishing and you'll see a bunch of similar style boats as that.

That Phantom is some nice. There's no shortage of them for sale...in other coastal states!

Meh, pretty much just a tunnel hull- just fiberglass instead of aluminum.
