New hiking boots

OK OB baws.

I am looking to get a new pair of hiking boots. No heavy mountain use, just basic trail boots.
I am pretty hard on shoes/boots and I am little flat-footed.

Danner boots have been what I have worn for years so these are my preferred choice.

I have heard good things about Lowa boots however I have never worn them.

Merrell boots seem to be a good quality boot so I am looking into them too.

Problem is there is not an actual store up in NELA that carries Danner or Lowa boots. Not even Bass Pro in Bossier, I have called Simmons, TP Outdoors and several outdoor shops.

Academy & Dicks Sporting Goods carries Merrell boots and they seem like a good boot.

Sure I can get a pair on-line from Amazon or REI but I want to try out several different boots before I buy a pair.

I want my Danner boots but would like to try on Lowa or another good brand.

Question, WHERE in tarnation can I go to find a place to go into and try on several pairs of boots in NELA or in the BR area?

Does Cabelas in Gonzalas have Danner or Lowa boots? I can't get someone in the footwear to answer the phone though.

Price is somewhat flexible, in the $200ish range.
