Getting an early start on deer season.
Built at home then reassembled on site.
12 foot legs with easy mount brackets. 5'x6' blind with 3'x5' deck. All treated with flip up real glass windows and rubber livestock mat for flooring. Total cost was $1400. More than I planned to spend, but happy with the finished product.

Nice build. Where are you hunting?

Those tie down ropes are snipers after dark or before dawn. Trust me, I know. Luckily your look to be somewhat low. We have some (they're wire instead of rope) on one of our stands and I've walked straight into on right across my neck and dammit that was not pleasant
Good looking stand and that's one hell of a ladder. I bet it's heavy AF. That little platform right outside the door is very convenient and awesome for an early hunt as it makes getting in quietly so much easier

I've got a couple nice box stands, but they ain't nothing like that.
I can honestly say this is the first time I've ever seen a full-sized door with a dead bolt on it on a deer stand.

Nice stand and quality construction work there. I would suggest ditching the tie off ropes also and instead using a 3' screw-in mobile home anchor directly under the stand with cable and turnbuckles running to all 4 corners. Assuming you have good solid soil with lots of roots.

Looks good, only change i'd would make is the front window longer in length. Just in case that 30 point buck/400 pound hog comes out in the front of the stand and you cant get a shot.

That is very nice. A lot of lumber and time went into the steps and porch. Curious if that was done to accommodate any thing particular like someone with a handicap?

Even got the anti-slip tape on the steps.

Thanks for all the comments.
So, to answer some of your questions:
We’re hunting in the Spillman area.
The tie downs are temporary and I plan to use a trailer anchor. Thanks for the advice on tieing it into all four corners. Didn’t think about that.
And about the door, I wanted a solid wood door that I could trim some height off of and still stay solid. That’s the only one I could find on Craigslist or Restore. Couldn’t find a 32”. I figured a hollow door or a handbuilt door wouldn’t hold up as well. The door came with the deadbolt and doorknob installed. Figured no reason to take them off. The knob side of the deadbolt is actually on the outside; due to wanting the door to swing outward and to the righthand side of the deck.
The windows are from DeerView Windows. Very happy with them. I purchased a 2 foot window to put on the door to open my access there, but one I looked at cutting out the gap in the door for install, I figured it would weaken my door way too much. Not much to see in that direction anyway, besides the stairs.
I actually built the stand for my aging dad and my very young kids. I previously had a 1-man tripod in this spot; this limited on who could hunt it, though sometimes that was a good thing. I had 4 different shooter bucks on camera in daytime on this stand last year, all in a 3 week period. I was at the lease a couple of those times, but was in other stands due to kids. And my dad didn’t care to climb the tripod. I do realize building this huge stand could lessen the deer sightings, but hopefully building this early will help with that.

On my stands I put a eye bolt right dead center under the floor and then put a mobile home tie down anchor in the ground directly below it. Hook a come along to it and crank it down tight. It's been there for 13 years and has not blown over and you will not walk into it.
