Cut and tape if you're in a hurry. Shouldn't be hard to pull though.

A little 12v isn't anything to worry about.

If you don't want to use it again, just cut it and follow the wire and disconnect it wherever it is wired.

Also, are you removing a hardtop or softtop? I'm guessing a hardtop if it was added to the jeep. Be careful when lifting it to not break the back glass. I use a hand crank hoist in my garage for mine, but in a pinch I've asked my wife or her brother for a hand. They're not that heavy, just kind of awkward getting them off and over the rollbars. I've seen pics of shattered glass on the jeep forums where people got in a hurry.

Just don't tape bare wires together. Tape individually then wrap together.

I'd would cut the wires and add a 2 wire connector if you plan on keeping the light.

Thanks guys. Going to see if my electrician friend can rig it up so that I can just Unclip when I want to take top off but still be able to use the LED lights.

Too nice of a day today, just wanted to get the top off.
