Need a new battery for my tundra... Should I make the step up to an AGM?

My battery is getting to its last leg and I'd like to replace it before it dies. This is my first time replacing a truck batter as I've had SUVs prior to this. Do I need to make the jump to the AGM battery?
I've researched some and know about the brands....
Should I go:
optima red top
Odyssey
Die hard
Really just looking for some recs... Optima red top seems to be the most cost efficient with odyssey being upwards of $300. Or do I just go with a good "normal" battery?

My truck is over 7 years old. Replaced battery once. Will sell it next year. Cannot imagine why one would spend the extra money if they do not have extra needs.

What's the difference between an suv battery and a truck battery?
Personally, I don't see the added value in going with a high dollar battery in your vehicle. Not like it's going to start any better than it does now. Service life is not a concern of mine in an every day driver.

Are you pushing a 15,000 watt sound system AND multiple light bars? If you don't have anything extra a normal battery is more than enough for 3-4 years of trouble free use.

If it's a daily driver without a lot of aftermarket electronic add ons a regular battery is fine.

Go AGM, just don't get a garbage Optima one. Deka and Odyssey are amongst the best (Sears Diehard Platinum AGM is rebadged Odyssey and both are made by EnerSys). The EastPenn AGM in my F150 is approaching 15 years old and still going strong. If you treat the battery right and do the proper maintenance you'll probably put that battery in your next truck.

don't have any huge sound system other than the jbl system that come with the limited tundras, pretty sure it has an amp somewhere, but it can't push that much power.
So, its overwhelmingly looking towards the "normal" battery. Any particular brand i should stay away from? Reason why i ask is b/c my last battery buying experience was about 7 years ago and just got el cheapo b/c i knew i'd be selling soon. Before that.... i couldn't afford anything worth a shite...

I had Optima Red top in my Tacoma. loved it. Sealed so no corrosion on your terminals ever.

That would be the 16V lithium racing batteries my buddy has in his race car. $1800/ea I think. Then you have to buy the special charger.

When my 4Runnner OEM battery (Panasonic) went out I researched the best replacement. Really wanted another Panasonic, but since the 4Runners are made in Japan...couldn't get another. Actually ended up getting a replacement from stealerahip cause it met specs and was only $120.... Slightly higher than aftermarket one.

If you don't have a bunch of electronic accessories, go with a regular lead acid battery.
