You're serious?

I'm going to see if I can find one locally. If not, I'll back channel you and get your address. I'll send you prepaid postage, a box for it, and maybe a little something to say thanks.

Bling bling...

Eta: Thanks for everybody's help and generous offers. I found the part locally. $14 part and $.33 in hardware. I stepped up and went with a grade 8 bolt.

Marine specialties had the trim tab in stock, but not the hardware. I went to industrial bolts around the corner to get the bolt and lock washer. I had a stainless and he said "go ahead and get the harder bolt, you're just buying one, may as well get the floor model."

saltwater + carbon steel = no bueno. It will rust out in no time.

I doubt you had a problem with it breaking off as much as you did it just coming loose. If you are worried about that just put some blue loctite on the stainless bolt that you your replace that grade 8 with.

Not sure where you are located but St. Gabriel hardware has a good selection of hardware.

If not fastenal should have it, might even call the local shops and see if one of the mechanics has one laying around.

Theres a bolt place a few blocks from where I work. I got my receipt. I'll stop back by and get all of it in stainless.

If you're near BR, I can probably dig the correct stainless bolt out of an old parts bin that you can have. Let me know if we can help you out.
