Seen a handful of Goldeneye's in the dekes or in front of me, a sackfull of Buffles and Ruddy's. Killed a few Buffles and Ruddys, mostly pass on them as well as the Goldeneyes.
I remember killing a Buffle or two as a teenager and getting fussed at for killing "trash ducks" or "chicken ducks", thus not shooting any Golden's. Killed a couple of Ruddy's and the guy I gave them to asked me not to bring any more. lol That guy ate Merganzers so I figured they must be bad.

I know a spot to go right now and shoot ruddy ducks till you cant feel your shoulder anymore. Every year same spot, few thousand. Only place I seen them like that.
