Great looking tire if I can find them locally at a decent price. I'm skeptical of buying some through Tire Rack even though their prices are very good.
i got quick change behind robinson brothers ford to pricematch the best price I could find online for my terra grapplers
i want to say I paid 260 a tire or maybe 270 for 275/65's
they had them in-stock at whatever warehouse in BR they use

Are they warrantied or anything?
I have no problem plugging a tire but I would hate to destroy the sidewall and have to buy a new one.
Plus, buying from a local dealer you don't have to pay shipping and can get the road hazard warranty on them.

They'll price match an online price? That's pretty damn awesome.

I opted out of the warranty because they're a 10 ply LT tire, but the shipping was free.

i'm not sure they advertise that they will
i went in there to get a quote on mounting a set of tires I planned to buy online
he asked what tire and price and i told him....he said he could match that price, but of course I'd have to pay taxes....but I was ok with that for what I was gaining

I do oil changes and rotations myself so that's no problem.

So this included a road hazard warranty?
While I never curb-chop a tire on purpose and never have, I would hate to drop $250+ on one single new tire when the other 3 are worn. That makes rotating them a nightmare.

Didn't realize this thread blew up so fast. The coopers lasted 65k on my f-150. Road noise is non existent. Plus it has a slightly aggressive feel. I liked the nittos too but they got a lot of mixed reviews.

I have the Rugged Terrains on my '04 Jeep Wrangler. They've been great so far. I've had them a while. Great wet traction, and did pretty well in the snow/ice we got back in January. I don't take it offroad as much as I used to so I didn't want something as aggressive as a mud tire. I bought 4 last summer, and got a 5th one this past spring when it was time for a tire rotation so I can do a 5-tire rotation. They're 31x10.50R15. No rubbing issues at all.

Are they fairly comfortable on the road (taking into account the ride quality of a Wrangler ) ?

it included whatever would normally be included on tires they sell
i'm not sure if they include free road hazard or if it depends on the tire or what

IIRC most places charge about 15 per tire for road hazard. Which, when spending nearly $1000 bones on tires, makes sense to me.

FML. My tires were 1400 without road hazard. THEN I had to get mount/balance/alignment
Posted on 9/16/14 at 4:16 pm to bapple
yeah, i don't know if its free
some places may not even offer it on certain AT or MT tires
i dont know if i got it or not, can't recall

Ouch.
Are they larger than factory? Must be for that price.
