My shitty mileage is worth it for the beast under the hood. Both of my previous vehicles (02 Explorer, 04 Envoy) didn't have shite for horsepower and I've always wanted some. I won't complain about MPG in something with 400 ponies.

Understandable. I'd like to make the appearance a bit more my style though, hence the Rugged Terrains rather than full-out A/Ts.

I really like the aggressive AT look on SUVs. Friend of mine has BFG ATs on his wife's Range and it looks really good.

The difference is your overall diameter, or "height" of the tire. This will certainly affect where your tire is when you turn full-lock because you have an extra half inch of rubber on each edge of the tire. It may not seem like a lot but it could be the difference between rubbing and not rubbing.

Then again, you could always chisel away some plastic.

i looked hard at the rugged terrains before I bought the nittos

they seem to be solid tires from what i remember reading about them

don't necessarily trust KR's opinion though

if he has something, its awesome

if you have something else, it sucks

Only thing I'm skeptical of is ride quality and noise with a tire that aggressive. I like how nice mine is on the highway. I figured one step down from the A/T would be much less deafening.

Then again. I bet they would look awesome.

more often than not, rubbing is the result of width rather than diameter, though not always

eta: this refers to when increasing diameter by a size or two...nothing drastic of course

which is why i thought he could fit them (275/60/20) by only going up an inch in diameter and keeping the same width. i don't know how the Denali is because i don't have one but my f150 can tuck these without a problem w/ no level. It was just a suggestion

They're not loud at all. Personally I kind of like a slight him from my tires and I like the heavier feel around turns and whatnot.

I'm always cool with suggestions. No harm done.

I've got a few weeks/month before my front tires are completely bald so I'll def give it some thought.

Great looking tire if I can find them locally at a decent price. I'm skeptical of buying some through Tire Rack even though their prices are very good.
