If this motherfricker was a cop and somehow lost his service weapon. He'd be fricked with until the day he died.

I have a console vault, I'm sure they could get in eventually but it's not going to be fast

Come on, man

ok, what happened to the gun, then?

I estimate the theft was committed over the last 30 days (I don't check the console every time I get in)
you have it narrowed down to ... a month.

Look, someone stole your gun, so unless you did take it out of the truck, then someone broke into your truck. You just have no idea how, where or when.

The person who stole your gun probably cased you, knew it was there, and now knows that you didn't even notice it. This person is likely watching a bit, to see if you put another gift in his basket.

Been there done that. Came home tired. Left the Remington 870 in the truck. Big STATE of LA tag glued on the side of it. Thug broke window, stole it.
JPSO caught thug 2 nites later with it.
Female deputy come knocking at 2 am.
Returned it. Told me , if I were employed by them, I would be un-employed now.

True, the .40 is sort of an in between cal. I come from the days of the 1986 FBI shootout in Florida. I will always remember the 9mm failure. Despite technology in bullet, saami pressures have the same limits. I am a 357 mag person. IF I were an auto person, it would be 10mm, and I would load for it, which I currently do.

Let's talk about this. To each his own? Are you suggesting I remove the weapon from my truck and bring it inside at the end of every day and reverse the process the next morning? I live in a VERY low crime area. The truck was not broken into. Relatively speaking, losing a gun is a small price to pay for being alive. You can replace the gun

I’m as big a supporter of gun rights as anyone. But if you’re stupid enough to leave one in the glove box of an unlocked vehicle, then you should lose your privileges to own one.

With rights come responsibility. “Losing a gun is a small price for being alive, you can replace the gun”….are you kidding me?

What about the innocent person who gets gunned down by a thief because you were too stupid, lazy, and irresponsible to secure your weapon properly?

Tell you what, there’s a huge thread in the OT concerning the LSU student who was killed at the train tracks. I dare you…no, I double dare you…to post this crap in that thread. You’ll get eviscerated. You’re pathetic.
