Just turned 9 months and still squats to pee? For the past 15 yrs I've had a female black lab. So I'm new to a male dog. When can I expect him to man up?

My labs 2 and still does it, I'm not mad about it because he doesn't go around pissing on everything.

My aussie is 4 and still does it. I always thought it was because I had him cut so early.

Well that is true in my case too. I guess it's better than peeing in the house

Most of my labs were around 1+ before they did it consistently. Now he pisses on everything!

My four year old lab male doesn't piss in the house. The fricker does piss on every tire, fence post, tree, and everything else he thinks needs to be pissed on. Hell, he even pissed on a little girl at the dog park when he was about two. We left shortly after that incident.

My dog is 2 and still does it, think he will for life. I don't mind it, he doesn't piss in everything he sees.

Our 3 yr old Male 80lb Lab/Border Collie mix still does the squat pee. Works for him. This also keeps him off my Truck's tires. LOL

I have a chessy/blue heeler mix and he goes back and forth, but mostly squats. He's about 10 but he's also clipped.

We have a 4 year old lab collie mix who doesn't lift his leg. No big deal, I'd rather him pee like a bitch than mark all over our house

He probably won't ever stop doing it just to piss. If he is marking his territory or trying to pee on something he will.
