After a year of seemingly aimless digging and turning my backyard into a battlefield, my boy has learned to effectively hunt and kill those little bastards.

In the past 2 weeks I've found 4 dead moles!

my problem is, the beagle and jack russell are inside the fence, and the moles and gophers dig outside the fence...those suckers know better than to come in my yard.

sometimes the jack will sit at the fence watching the holes.

Hate em.

I can usually kill moles, my main problem has been gophers. I've tried everything under the sun, but nothing works. They even chew through our main electrical cable for the entire neighborhood. Power out for 18 hours. I guess that one probably died.

NWLA. well i've not actually seen one, so i'm assuming they are gophers. I've got moles as well, with the tunnels at the top of the soil.

These others are huge mounds about 18" around, and no tunnels. Pretty easy to find their exit/entry point, but no store bought product has worked.

Think i'm going to try the lawn mower exhaust again.

unfortunately my dog swallows them whole because he is scared I am going to try to get them away from him. It's not good for his digestive track :(
