There's some big money going to change hands with all of the BP money thrown into this shitshow. CPRA made a contribution to Guvna Honer Codes brothers reelection campaign last year. Wonder how a sheriffs race in Tangipahoe parish has any affect on coastal erosion?

what about it.....

Well on topic, i do agree that Bradberrys jump is very suspicious. I mean did GEC say hey give us the contract and we will hire you? no but being awarded the contract then hiring him as President wasnt exactly the most inconspicuous move.

with all that said , Plaqemines Parrish has ben a big fricking butt hurt baby about all of this. They have been halting permits for everything just to make their voices know and trying to swing a big stick with all of this. I said this to a colleague months ago the Bel Edwards should have taken a nice trip down to plaquemines and tightened the choke collar the State has over the douches in Plaquemines parrish.

Just another example of the "cajun mafia" trying to rule the roost down there.

This is what happens when you try to sound edgy, but only sound retarded.

They can drag all this on forever until it’s really too late, hopefully other parishes charge Plaquemines residents to hunt public land after all of Plaquemines erodes away.

Plaquemines is scared of diverting any more water out the river.

They know she wants to flow down the Atchafalaya and that would dry up the river and every sources of income that they have.

There's too much money made on that river for politicians to worry about coastal erosion.

Nowhere in that satirical(?) or comedic(?) article did it specifically say that a state agency, CPRA, donated money to a candidate.

Again...where does that say "Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority donates state funds to Edwards' sheriff campaign"?

I won't argue that it's not something dirty going on there, or at the very least a horrible look, with the head of CPRA and DOTD attending and being put on the invite email, but that's quite different than being able to track state funds going to that campaign.

And it's definitely bad optics, again at the very least, for Bradberry to jump to that engineering firm.

You do business with the state, do you attend or stay home after receiving this invitation? Two guys that will control billions in contracts asking for support similar to La Familia making you and offer you can't resist.

Please Join:

Johnny Bradberry

CPRA Chairman

&

Dr. Shawn Wilson

Secretary of LA DOTD

At a fundraiser for

Sherriff Daniel Edwards

I understand why it's a bad look and dirty. But again, it does not say that CPRA itself donated money to the campaign as you originally stated.
