Mechanical advice? I left my truck in 4x4

So twice this past week I've left my truck in 4x4 after leaving the farm. I've traveled maybe 6 miles each time and never got over 60mph.
Did I frick anything up or do I need to check or grease something?

As long as you didn't do 60 in 4 low you're good.

Ya, I mean if he made it to 60 in 4 low....well he would definitely know.
I know the manual in my toyota says to put it in 4 wheel drive every so often. So I do and I travel on the interstate to work. So Im going 80.
If the 4wd system wont work at normal driving speeds then I dont want it. Wants the point of 4wd if I have to turn it off to drive normal.

no problem at all...people leave vehicles in 4WD all winter in a lot of northern states where they get snow frequently.

My friend in anchorage puts his truck in 4wd in September and it stays that way till May, you will be fine

You're fine. 4hi can shift on the fly at interstate speeds. The only real problem is making sharp turns on concrete but you would know if you blew a CV

Thanks. I use mine quite a bit but never more than 15 mph unless I'm in a bind and really having to get on it.
I know you CAN do it but didn't know how much you can

Not the best idea in the world

As someone already mentioned, it's not how fast you go in four wheel drive. It's the sharp turns. When the truck is in four wheel drive at least two of the wheels are going to spin at the same speed. If you are make a sharp turn, all four of the wheels want to turn at different speeds. No big deal on dirt or mud. Not good on pavement or concrete. Sure you may get away with it now and then, but it's not a good idea.

You really think its any different than going 80 in 2wd?
Its really not. Everything is still turning. Just not engaged.

I've been in 4WD since Tuesday. You'll be fine.

Is this vehicle specific? Locked axles only?

4 wheel drive is for pussies that won't hunt their lab if it's less than 65 degrees

When you put my truck in 4x4 it locks the rear differential also. So you know real quick that you are still engaged when making a turn on the pavement.
