Anyone check out the new Mathews bows yet? Definitely on the expensive side with cost increase and the new features will require you to buy a dovetail sight and the $250 quiver to utilize .

Not sure if I am going to get one, I do like the 29, but my VXR shoots like a dream. Also, I've been wanting to get a older model Creed to add to my collection.

Anyway enjoy.

That's a slick looking bow. I've been shooting my Triax for a few years now and really like it.

I'm going to wait until they have a complete refresh with "breaking technology" especially with that price tag

I've been checking out all the reviews. I think my Vertix is going up for sale for the new 33" model.

If I had not bought a Halon a couple of years ago, I'd be all over that.

I'll stick with my Switchback XT a lil longer.

I like it. I guess it’s a good thing they wait until the week before rifle season opens to reveal these, or I’d be about $1500 lighter. I think the SAS thing is really cool, been a lot of times where I wish I could move my peep a tiny bit or fix rotation but didn’t cause I didn’t want to wait 3 months for the shop to do it.

I just bought a VXR 31.5 and I love it. I love the new upgrades to the V3x though

first thing I noticed was the short brace height. 6” usually isn’t very forgiving especially in a hunting bow. I’m not in the market for a new bow but may shoot it to experience how it feels compared to my E35 and other Matthew’s bows I’ve owned.

Man, as great as that bow was/is, you really should shoot something Halon forward. Game changing.

I bought the V3 last spring and love the bow

I am incredibly jealous of the new quiver and sight positioning of the V3X

The SAF system also is pretty damn brilliant.

I have a Tight Spot that's $150 but would get this new Mathews one in a heartbeat. Tucked tight, less torque

Accuracy kills not speed. That xt is deadly and quiet.

I never said anything about speed.

I had one in my hands at lunch. It is sweet but talking with the guy he said that if you have anything from the Halon up you really don't need a new bow.

Personally if I had a VXR I wouldn't trade it anytime soon. I would love to have a VXR and decided to go get the V3X but, I'm not sure I am now. I currently have a Mission Hype and the guy told me that I could get a Mission MXR and be within 10fps and save a lot of money.

Gonna look into it for sure

I can believe that.

The jump from a Mission anything to the V series bows will be drastic. No doubt the mission will get the job done but if you bow hunt a lot, do yourself a favor and get the Mathews

The quiver and sight bracket is super slick and the stay afield string is pretty sweet. I shot the vxr and v3 and ended up with an elite. These accessory mods on the 33” might be enough to make me buy one.

I’ve got a V3. Not sure if they do enough to make me make the jump. I’ve got a longer draw length and am tempted to make a jump to the 33 but I was hoping they were doing a new version of the traverse

The whole point of the 33 was to be a new version of the traverse. Every review I’ve seen from guys who complained for several years they wish they hadn’t sold their traverse said this feels like an updated one. A lot of comparisons to the TRX 34 without the $400 target bow premium, the selling point is that the riser is as long as the TRX but the limbs are past parallel such that it holds like the 34 in a 33 ata. Every bit of that could be marketing bullshite, but it’s coming from guys who had picked up other brands cause Mathews went short.

I got the Kure last year. Best shooting bow I’ve ever had.

Correct and from Halon on, is way more accurate and efficient (affects sound) than your old bow.

Always some XT owner that chimes in on new bow pages every year saying the same thing.
