I actually like it. Gives a little something extra for the fishermen to think about when boating a fish...

I HATE that. Makes them grab the line. Stupid.

Yea we were at Chicot Park. Never fished Cleco. I like Cotile. Won a tournament there.

I used to LOVE night fishing Cotile. I haven't been there in about 10 years. I did win a club tourney on Kincaid last year, though.

I hated fishing Chicot and catchin damn slot fish

I have smoked them on Cotile and Kincaid on topwater. Yea Chicot can be rough. They lifted the slot, idk what that will do for the lake. We shall see. We fished it in October and caught 19. Never heard of anyone catching that many there.

I haven't been there since high school, but I don't ever remember catching that many in one trip.

I saw the biggest stringer of bass I've ever seen in my life there one day, though. Guy had a 12, 10, 9, and 7 in one day.

The sewers will be filled with bass.

I've seen some really good stringers come out of there. I've seen 38 pounds come to the scale for a tournament.

I saw Todd Faircloth on HWY 28 yesterday pulling his Skeeter in his wrapped Toyo back to Jasper. :CSB:

I pulled up beside him. Saw it was him. Gave him a nod. He returned. Watched the rerun of LaCrosse this morning

I saw a guy that played on my high school baseball team in one of these tournaments having an argument with another angler over poaching a fishing spot

Drew Benton- he's actually won a tournament and finished in the top 10 in a few others. He's always been a jackass and now he gets to bass fish for a living which rustles my jimmies

Spoilers

Watched it this past weekend. Faircloth had 27lbs to VanDams 0. Guess who won? KVD came back and smoked the field.

No one finds a school and sits on it like Van Dam. I am amazed more guys don't adopt that. Of course, it can lead to some low numbers if you never find them.

That's where their next tournament is also, if I'm not mistaken. Always good for a bunch of nice frog footage!

I was a freshman in '04--so I'm thinking we shared a clubhouse?

Cody Johnson was a year ahead of me

Yeah, that would have been my senior year. Cody was a soph when I was a senior. Did you finish out playing all four years?

Your class would be the one I knew the least amount bc I also played basketball and wouldn't be out there for conditioning, practice, etc. I never got to really know the younger guys until summer and I obviously would have been gone your first summer in the program.

I played freshman, sophomore, and junior year. I showed up to tryouts in red spikes my freshman year. Our class was pretty bad compared to our predecessors

I think I know who you are though- only recall one guy playing basketball from your class.
