$2.25 for the styrofoam ice chest at the dollar store, $9 for the fan at the dollar store, $2.25 for the 3 PVC 1 1/2" couplers. Put a bag of ice and salt the ice down to freeze it and it should last 6 or 7 hours. This dude blows cold! Best thing ive ever made!!!

How'd you come up with that?

Oh it definitely works! I was looking on google and came across 5 gallon bucket liners and people made A/C out of 5 gallon bucket like this. So i went looking for those liners and no where in town had them, you can get them online for 17$ plus 10$ S&H on homedepot. So i said screw that i didnt want to spend much so i though about the ice chest. Im going to look for one of those good styrofoam ice chest with the handles on them for my 2nd one i make.

Awesome idea, but for camping wouldn't you rather a battery operated fan?

You should at least make it out of a solid plastic I've chest. I think after a few uses it will get broken.

Buy a nice chest at a garage sale.
