STI also makes a nice custom.
And for Texas if you have a CHL you can carry a pistol with you when bowhunting. Don't know how it is in others parts of the country

It does have an aluminum frame but I prefer them to steel to be honest. It saves a few ounces of weight and you don't lose anything by having it.

Actually, I'm not sure if it is legal/illegal here but I'm gonna do it anyway. I've got my CCL and I do have to periodically run off armed trespassers.
