Ended up going s&w shield m2.0 with thumb safety. Excited to go out and use it this weekend. Thanks for the advice

Look into the Glock G48. Don’t get much talk, but it’s pretty slick. Not as bulky as like a G17 and feels nice in your hands. Holds 10+1.

Best choice for a gun is what is most comfortable for you and what you shoot the best. I have had sig 365, Glock 43 and 43x and a Springfield hellcat. I prefer the hellcat simply I shoot it better than the others. Any of those guns will serve you well in a defensive encounter.

Louisiana and Kansa are reciprocity states so having a CCW in Kansas follows you to Louisiana as far as the CCW laws are concerned.

Even tho the two states have reciprocated agreements, you are still required to know what nuances Louisiana may have regarding where you can carry and duty to inform an officer if you have one in your auto, just to name a couple of instances.

Came here to say that. Canik has a great smooth trigger.

Good to hear, I just bought a TP9SFX with the vortex red dot. Should have it next week.

I have the TP9SFX, the two tone model pictured. I have to tell you, it did take about 200 rounds to break in. Had a problem with stove piping with 115 grain. Heavier bullet did not have any issues and now that it’s broken in no further issues. My buddy with the same model had the same problem.
