Redwing then Chippewa then Wolverine, have been the most comfortable work boots I've had.

See if the boots that are sold by Grainger are also sold at any local boot stores and go try them on before ordering

I'll give a vote to redwing pecos. they treated me right when I needed them 2-3 days a week all day.

Thorogoods are extremely comfortable, light weight, and will last. I'd buy boots myself before I had to order sight unseen.

Timberland Pros. Most comfortable boot that requires the least or no break-in to me. Been wearing steel toe boots since 96 and I've worn most major brands. On my 6th pair of timberlands now.

I didn't have good luck with the Timberland Pros. My first two pair completly fell apart.
