Looking for duck lease.

Me and a group of close friends are looking to lease a rice field with pit blind within 2.5 hours from Shreveport. We hunt a lot of public land but are wanting a lease also. Any leads on where to look online or anyone know of anything available? We leased a blind in Mer Rouge a few years ago and wouldn't mind being in that area again but I'm open to anything that has birds. Thanks in advance for the help.

Depends. We aren't scared to pay if the Ducks are there but I doubt we'd pay much more than 10k a year.

An old neighbor used to lease down around Chopin, I have no details though.

I think I'll be able to find one but last time we let a "friend" get the lease for us and it was a terrible hole that was leased for only $4,500 but told us it was $6,000 and there were 5 of us including him do 4 of us paid $1,500 a piece and he paid nothing. We are willing to pay more than that of course but I'm not letting anyone else take care of it. I will be the one getting the details and all info from the farmer or whoever we lease from to make sure we don't get screwed again.

It has been my personal experience that being the one who knows the landowner or land manager is a very valuable asset.
And d tends to get u in a lease here or there for free......
Not only is it how deep or the pockets it's also who u know and do they like you....

Possibly so but the guy didn't know anybody. He called a guy he's never met after getting his number from someone he ran into that leases a blind from him. Regardless I will find a place to lease and I will still pay as much as everyone.

We pay 5k for a blind just south of welsh. I think that there may be 1 blind available in our lease. I split the 5k with a buddy of mine & we take guys out there to hunt for $100 a gun to try & recoup some of our money.

If you get in a pinch, yall can do what a buddy of mine did. Called up some guides in stuttgart. Negotiated a deal with them. Basically it went like this... I'll agree to give you 100 hunts worth of business for $100 (maybe if was 125 or 150 i forget exactly) a piece. For instance. He could go with 10 ppl 10 times for the 100 or 3 ppl for 33 hunts or whatnot. Basically my buddy had x amount of days before a hunt to inform the guide. if the guide had other ppl lined up he would show them a field to hunt and coordinate getting them out there one way or another. Worked out well for him.
