Also I need to pull my bow out and start slinging some arrows and get dialed in. I'll usually shoot 3-4 times a week once August gets here.

I joined my cousins club near Lacy, AR this year. It's a five hour drive so I will schedule several long weekends. Last year ten people killed 25 deer off 1000 acres so I'm lookin forward to hunting where they have plenty deer.

I'll also hunt my 40 in southern MS during the late rut after AR closes down.

If I don't see deer at either place I ought to sell my deer rifle cheap!

My usual hunt in Ark during thanksgiving, got invited to go on a TX hill country hunt between duck splits just yesterday so I may go since the dates work. I'll go to MS for a few hunts also.

I like to shoot a lot to get smooth and fast with my draw. It really makes a difference. Plus if you have any snags with your eqpt. you find it early.

Hunting IL from Nov 10-Sunday after Thanksgiving.

Will make a few trips to MS also, however biggest thing is to not let deer get in the way of ducks.

A couple trips to a place south of Shreveport and the club in St. James. I'm open to invites though.

We put him just shy of 160" last year at 4.5 years old...hopefully he hits the protein hard again this summer and gets over that mark. My brother got to shoot the trophy last year and it went 163" so as long as hes over that i'll be happy here are a few more pics of him from last year
