Who's heading out opening day of red snapper season?

I've been chomping at the bit to get out there!

We'll have 8 people on the boat and I'm assuming our red snapper limit will be filled in about 20 minutes.

So 20 miles of riding for 20 minutes of targeting red snapper then we'll have the rest of the day to try and fill the boat with mangroves, lemons and maybe a few AJ's if we feel like running out a bit more.

That estimate is with us being selective on which fish we keep.

I was just about to ask about gag grouper.

The gulf fisheries site says July 1st. LINK
