For those of us with mature trees and more than a little yard, the flip side of summer shade will soon be upon us.

4-5 solid weeks of racing to finish weekend leaf cleanup in order to watch football/hunt/fish.

I might be in the market for a new blower this year, any recommendations?

My favorite method has become: Blow leaves into piles, rake onto giant tarp, drag tarp to the woods.

I did mulch my tomato beds with leaves this last winter had had an epic crop this year; will likely do again.

Backpack Stihl run it like a scalded dog the more the better. I've had mine 10 years only thing I've done is change the spark plug once and replaced the straps last year. Best peace of equipment I own. You will find many uses for it too

I just set my mower deck almost all the way up and mow over them. I knock out my small front yard in about 15 minutes every weekend. It would take twice that long to blow/rake them all up and dispose of them or move them to the back where the garden is. In the back I just blow them away from the house and deck until they're as far back as my extension cord will allow on the electric blower, then mow over that.

Highly recommended! Have had for over a year. Good power, always starts, 4 stroke, light weight, price not too bad.

Anyone use a leaf sweeper with their riding mower?

Been seeing them online but they almost seem too good to be true.

I have a Stihl backpack. After about 6-7yr I've never had a problem with it.
