Do yall keep your firewood in the house? If so, how much and what do you keep it in?

I have my starter stuff inside, but have about 1/4 cord left in the trailer on the side of my house. Getting tired of walking outside every hour to get more wood and was looking for some ideas on a firewood rack that'll hold a good amount of logs

No chicks living here. I honestly thought about just stacking the shite up right beside the TV, but it would annoy me looking at it 24/7

believe me, it is just full of various kinds of bugs that will start crawling all over the place as soon as they warm up...just get it as close to the door as you can and call it good...

I think they sell log caddy things and my parents have one. Just load it up with what you'd need that night. Take it out after. Will at least cut down on the trips.

Got a link or brand? I got a new rack for my fireplace and it goes through wood with the quickness now. Stacked 6 medium kinda wet logs on there 30 minutes ago, and they've only got another 20 left

Tried that in Louisiana and fricking black widow spiders came out of the wood

I was keeping my Firewood inside but it was scarring my knuckles so I brought it back outside.

I built a rack on the side of the house that holds a half cord. I also built a small 3ft x 3ft rack that I keep right outside my backdoor on my deck that I feed the fireplace from. I just wheelbarrow wood from the big rack on the side of the house to fill the small one when it runs out. Lasts for several fires so I don't have to do it often

I bring in wood in a caddy... about 2-3 nights worth. We havent had a fire in weeks until last night. I used the wood that had been inside for 4 weeks. When the wood caught, hundreds of ants came pouring out. I cant believe theyve been inside the wood in my house and I didnt see any.

I had a box built beside my fireplace that holds about 1/4 cord. I have lockable doors on the inside and outside. Just load what you want in the box from the outside and unload what you need from the inside when you need. Very convenient on cold days.

Keep most of it outside. Bring in 10-12 pieces before dark

I put enough on the patio for long enough to last thru a cold spell at the back door and bring in maybe 8-10 logs at a time. I have a small rack beside the fireplace.

My firewood has too many little critters living in the cracks and under the bark. Storing it indoors isn't an option.
