If anyone has a 12-14 sit on top for sale, I'd be interested. I'm a bigger guy 240 (all muscle of course). I'd be interested. Or even some direction on where to buy a good used one.

My brother got an $800 yak for 300 a couple years ago when this kayak place in covington was going out of business.

Thanks Diesel. I'll check it out. It's to the point where you can't fish any more unless you have a boat. I've done a little yaking in the past and have already flipped a few times, but it's so bad arse being that close to the water. It is a blast! I just don't want to drop too much on my first one.

FWIW, Backpacker having another Kayak / Canoe Demo this Saturday at the LSU beach. I think it starts at 10. I am going to try to make it.

I am gonna get a kit this summer and make a wooden one. There are several around town and they look awesome.
