How do you feel about jet skiers?

Did this dude make a mistake? Yes. Not sure how that calls all kayakers into question.

Nevermind. Carry on.

Jet skis are a different deal. The guys in john boats and kayaks getting swamped or hit from being somewhere they shouldn't be is an issue with me only because they blame everyone else.

Most of the time a jet ski accident involves the guy on the ski and a dock or other jet ski that he crashed into. I used to rent jet skis back in high school, that was a real shite show.

Ugh. Kayakers are the worst. The good ones are few and far between. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't insist on sitting at the boat ramp messing around with their PVC and pool noodles while people wait on them to launch or take out. 26 minutes is my current record for waiting on one to take his tub toy out of the water.

radar reflector...course it would need to be 10 or 15' high...but they are made relatively small...

wonder if the guy was in open water or close to shore...

Sounds like open water if he was out of St. Andrews. I've certainly seen that, or a similar, hovercraft while at St. Andrews. It's actually a pretty awesome sight.

Actually a hover craft can stop with the quickness. Increase resistance is it's brakes.

I am very curious as to if the Navy put out messages saying conducting amphibious testing in the vicinity of... This is normally protocol, so did this fisherman take his trip at his own risk?

I have seen fishermen ignore safety squawks while doing weapons tests in the Atlantic.

Almost ran over one the other day. Dumbass was anchored clean across a narrow winding bayou where we pig hunt. No room for me to pass.

Surprised this doesnt happen more often.

You sound too fat for a kayak or a bike.
