This isn't the first time he has seen the boat, but it's been at the camp for months. Dude, is deathly afraid of it, shakes like a leaf. I tried treats, being pissed and not being pissed. Nothing is working... I assume he is gonna get used to it? At least he better or he won't get to piss... Never seen something like this from him. He will be cautious with new things, but never holy shite that is the scariest thing I've ever seen type stuff

If you've got neighbors w dogs have there's come and sniff and piss near the boat. Your guy will get the drift with the quickest. Good luck

Cesar Milan had a great show with a dog that was deathly afraid of getting into it's owners vehicle. It's on Netflix (I think).

I will give you a cliff note version if you can't find it online.

give him time. just let it sit there and he will should get used to it.
my lab (rest his soul) used to get pissed off at water melons. ms mack would bring one home from the store, put it on the floor, and he would get all bowed up and bark and growl at the damn thing daring it to fight. we just left it alone and ignored the "problem". after a while he realized that it wasn't going to attack him.

Get someone with a dog who loves boats to come over. Fix a way for the dog get in and out. Get in the boat with the dog and pet it and give it treats. Act like it's the most fun you've ever had with your clothes on.

Walk by it all the time with him. Don't make a thing out of it, don't act frustrated, and give him treats. Stand in it and throw him treats. Be patient. Being pissed is just going to make it worse for him and you.

Crazy thing is it's been at the house before.... Just been since before last duck season. I left him outside while I was cleaning it..... Hopefully it will grow on him
