What a night mare this morning. Went to make a deer/hog hunt. I had a spot that I been seeing a very nice buck with a ton of hog signs. Winds were just right to hunt the ground in the area.

1/2 hour after day light, sure as shite, I saw the nice buck running along with 3 other deer broad side about 75 yards. They were up wind and it threw me off somewhat. I was like WTF? I was 100% sure that it wasn't me to spook them. I couldn't get off a good shot and let that sucker go for another day again.

5 minutes later, a big arse pack of pigs(15+) came up the same trail. I picked out a nice small one and put the crosshairs on it's head and shot. NOTHING! What? went to shoot again and the dam rifle was jammed. But that time, I had pigs all around me within 20'. What the hell one is suppose to do then?

First mistake was that I used my sons rifle. Second mistake was not shooting it before trying to hunt. That shite will not happen again.

this was her first deer ever. I'm pretty proud to be part of that.

My gf got her first deer this weekend down at the ranch. Dropped him in his tracks.

I recommend a 10mm. It did a hell of a number at 75ft.

When 14 is a bad hunt, you know you're really having a good year.

Today was just one of those days for us. Pulled into the truck stop to gas up, and noticed one of the trailer hubs was hot. Tire had almost come completely off. Changed out the bearings and headed to the house.

Should of had my 44 mag. Would of made them shite at 75 yards. I'm not suppose to use a long gun for another week, but said screw it this morning. That is why I used my son's rifle.
