Smoked a doe last night to finally get on the board. We got a pic of an absolute monster 2 nights ago. A true 200” giant. We have 2 more days to try and get him. Bucks are running all over the place, just need to get the right one to stop within 40 of me.

Had 2 bucks cruise the ridge behind me so far. One was a shooter, but couldn’t get him to stop and turn.

This shite would be so easy with a rifle.

But that is why I love bowhunting.

I only hunt BIG Deer??

Actually just trying to hunt as much as possible this fall with the big gun as I am going to Alaska next May on. Brown Bear hunt and want to be extremely competent with this gun when hunting something that can eat you. Also looks and conversation at the deer camp are priceless!??

I love bow hunting as well but unfortunately can no longer see the pins and the deer at the same time. If I see the deer cannot see the pins or if I can see the pins can’t see the deer. Had to let down twice from full draw last year which was frustrating. Not sure how I can overcome this except to hunt with crossbow and scope and it’s not quite the same. Age does this to your eyes unfortunately

They make peep sites with a lense in them to help, like cheater glasses... go to a reputable bow shop and ask about them.

Have your tried single adjustable pin. I don’t really see the sight when I release. Learn to look at sight through peep and get close then focus on deer. Instinctive nature will put that pin where you are looking. With single pin you don’t have to worry about your mind picking with pin to use

I have some Indian blood in me but not that much!

Might look into the peep with lens suggestion.

Funny thing the only deer I saw this morning was a fawn that still had 4 spots on the hind quarter.

Wouldn’t that make an impressive picture, spotted fawn shot with a 375 H&H! Ha Ha

Make no mistake though I did not shoot that!
