I'm not in the stand. I picked up a new lease this year so I'm squirrel hunting today so I can walk the place and scout.

Me and little tiger are trying to knock out a few tree rats. His first squirrel hunt! I don't think he slept a wink last night.

First bow hunt ever.
Had 5 does at 35 yards but I need my first shot at a deer to be closer.

Feels amazing. Thermal ell not necessary

My Dad's doe from last night. Shot her at 22 yards with his new Bowtech Stryker Solution. She ran about 35 yards and crashed.

AND here was my entertainment for the evening.....BBQ?

Did you kill the twins mom ?

I orphaned one once on accident and the fawn was at my corn pile everyday for a week looking for maw.

Maw was in the freezer though

There are 2 by my blind that bed with their mom close by. She's with them early and late day and at night. They come in by themselves every couple of hours.

Lol...no she wasn't with them....apparently someone else already made that mistake (or hope it was a mistake) or was hit by a car. I have been having them on camera since before the season opened.

We don't purposely kill any doe running with fawns...spotted or not.

Ok well that makes me feel a little better...maybe they are not orphaned then...just getting 'lots of rope' from momma.
