I'm at work till 1 or so then headed to the house. The deer were everywhere this morning so maybe one will slip up this afternoon.

Moon phase and weather sucked last week. Next time, plan around moon phase.

Our first rut here starts around the 12th of Dec. I will be in the woods, I hope.

Something cavemanish about being out in the weather but staying dry and warm. My favorite hunts are rainy days if I can stay dry. If it was 20 degrees cooler I'd hunt all day.

Also i enjoy the shite out of getting to the stand early in the morning. Got time to get settled and listen to woods wake up around you.
