I think the end is in sight, I'd say in another 3-6 months things will be much closer to normal.

Been hearing this for about a year and a half now from different people.

Why yall arent ordering online yet is beyond me. We were getting 22 all through the hardest times of sandy hook. Just reduced stash from about 40k rds to 15k

Remington is starting to emerge in places online, can get 1400 round buckets for around 50 to 60$ which is a good feels to shoot .22 again for less than a nickel a round

Academy here in Houma gets three shipments of ammo a week (at least according to their employees). They aren't always flush but usually have them at some point.

I'll admit my thinking on this is due mostly to anectodal evidence. But I surf enough gun and outdoor websites to convince that things are going to get better if nothing happens.

The kicker though, is a buddy of mine went to a gunshow in TX today and most of the .22 bricks / 550 packs were in the $40 range.

Still too much for me, but then, I'm sitting on enough to last me for a while.

I just buy it when I happen upon it at Walmarts or Academys when I am there for something else.

Bought 300 rounds of CCI mini mag hollow points last night. That should last me through squirrel season.
