Civiltiger is spending all this money on a new ranger aluminum. I say he should spend the extra cheddar and buy the ipilot, he thinks it's a waste while bass fishing. What does the OB think?

Even if your poor you should find a way to get a ipilot

Not really sure it's worth the money for bass fishing. I have one and love it, but when I bass fish I'd rather have a foot petal. You can have the best of both worlds and get a foot control attachment. Don't know anyone that has one, so not sure if they work as well as typical foot controlers.

Meh. I could care less about the I-pilot, but I would upgrade to the 80# Fortrex from the 70#edge tho. Much nicer with the gas piston assist.

I don't think its a necessity when bass fishing but for saltwater its a game changer.id just upgrade like coot said. It will be my next purchase for my boat, I'm not a fan of the motor guide that came on it. Anybody want a motor guide 82 lb great white? lol

From what I hear the guys who spend most of their time off shore on big lakes like Toledo or Fork love them, but aren't tough enough for places with lots of stumps (like the red river).
