Looking at a husqvarna. Anyone having any experience with their blowers?

The only blower I had in the past was a gas only cub cadet. I haven't owned anything that needed an oil/gas mix.

Just need something for around the yard, just under an acre.

I bought a Hitachi for my mom's house and it is better than my echo I bought at the same time for my house. It start on the 2nd or 3rd pull every time. The echo seems to take forever to warm up. So I suggest Hitachi.

Got the husqvarna backpack blower, going on 3 years no problems. Use ethanol free if you can.

Stihl

ETA: I use premix fuel. Expensive as hell, but I leave gas in my 2 strokes year round and never had a problem starting one.

I have a Stihl that has been underwater twice during hurricane flooding. Still runs like a brand new one, and it is 15-20 years old.

I have a Husky, I like it. My cousin has an old Stihl and it's beefier than mine, but he spent more. Whatever you buy, use ethanol free, pre-mix 95 octane, or Sea Foam/Stabil on every tank. Easy to gum up a carb nowadays.

Echo, their new carbs have a hidden high speed jet. After running a couple times find jet adjust and the warming up problem is solved.

Father in law has a Stihl that runs like a champ. I need a new one too after using his. I looked at Lowe's and they have a Husgavarna that looks exactly like his Stihl. Was thinking of buying that one.
