Anyone have one of these? What's your thoughts on it? Looks pretty durable. I have a Igloo MaxCold ice chest right now that's on it's last leg.

Your last ice chest is on its last leg, and you're asking if one made by the same company is durable?

Not bad price at $100 and reviews seem to be good. No personal experience though

I have a couple of there marine chest that are well over 20 years old. They started to crack after about 12 years, but still are good boxes. They always kept ice for up to a week at a time.

Only reason I'm getting a K2 for Christmas is so that I can stand on it for a casting platform. My igloo marine holds ice just fine for me. Only reason I would want one of the high dollar coolers is if I'm spending a long time at a camp without electricity (or for my casting platform).

Can't afford a yeti. Think I'm going to try the STX. My main concern was did it keep ice as long as Max Cold or would I be better to buy Max Cold and replace hinges. Going to get a Coleman Extreme Marine for my boat and compare the two.
