Weatherby N257115BST 115 gr (7.5 g) Nosler BT 3,400 ft/s (1,000 m/s) 2,952 ft·lbf (4,002 J)

I can't find a decent chart of the .270 but the ballistics using 130 gr bullet is: 130 Gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip 3100 / 2774

Weatherby is better.

Thx. I've become very interested in Weatherby's in the last few months. I'd really like a Mark V Deluxe but you've got to crawl before you walk.

The biggest downside to them is the price of the ammo. It's crazy but it's some of the best you can buy.

I'm actually accustomed to that. My A Bolt has had the same ammo run thru it since it was purchased - a Barnes X bullet loaded by Federal. It's out of production now and costs about $50 a box.
