For all yuo people that wonder about why the wily mallard duck no longer venture to LA, below is youre' answer

LINK

I never met Randy Root but I know I dont' like him. If you were mr mallard and had acres of flooded corn to munch on flooded right to the head why would you flie south? i would stay there and munch corn to but its bullshite you can plant crop just to shoot ducks thats not a normal agriculture practice. I have met the enemy and he is us

People get paid to do this by certain organizations that are donated a lot of money by hunters

HAMMER I know this, I've done ton of research on the topic but that doesnt' make it right. There more than enough redources to handle waterfowl populations without intentionally leaving grain in the field to HUNT over. Ducks dont' get I'm corn down here like up north so dont' plan a cornfield here and expect that video cause the few mallards here will get in it at night and eat every grain while some sugarass sits in his pit wondering why there' no ducks in his cornfield

You should get Obama to make them give you your fair share.

Don't like it then get a better job that allows you to buy some property up there and do the same.

This isnt' about handouts fool, a field like that could be on the super value meal at McDonald and ill still be pissed. Its' the fact that someone, regardless if wealth or imcome can plant a crop for ducks, not harvest and flood it o hunt over. Only difference between that and dumping the yellow call is the risk of having a bad crop.

And dont you dare call me a Barry supporter. No handouts on this end

Can't do that here in Arkansas. Would still be considered baiting. That's my issue. Different rules up and down the flyway.

I think he's talking about fields that are left virtually unharvested. Not normal agricultural practices. I know some big clubs here that get away with it too due to political pull.

I think he is referring to the adjustments on a combine while harvesting corn. One can set the machine so that the majority of grain leaves out the back of the machine instead of going to the hopper.

Oh someone is jelly! I have no problem with this practice. If it is legal do it, if you want it changed push your legislator to re-write the law.

It is no different than mojos to me. I don't think spinners are "good" for duck hunting in general (nor legal - mechanical device and all) but as long as the powers that be are letting them be used I am gonna use them in the right situations.

Same with flooded corn. When one of my farmer friends up north gives me an invite to hunt their flooded corn field, I AM IN!
