I have a 65 quart yetti. It was given to me. It is heavy and stays in the back of my truck year round with ice in it maybe 10 weeks per year.

Sumbitch is heavy.I mean lumbar damaging heavy. If it gets taken, I will survive. I don't fly the yetti patch though, so take it easy on me.

Wanna keep ice long term, precool, add dry ice, don't open it often. Practice that and the differences in coolers are negligible.

Wow!
No kidding? So you just don't open it?

Any ice chest works well if you do that...

Also, precooling helps, too.

Anybody know anything about them

I dont have one but they are "suppose to be" comparable to a yeti.

If he has any left, this guy has 25 and 50 qts marked down.

You're going to come on here and tout the exceptional craftsmanship of something you bought at the Wally, Wally, Wally, Wally World? Was it purchased with the EBT card? Guys just look at the wall thickness of the chests. 2" of foam has a higher R value than 1" of foam. Check out the lids. And the weight is from a dense foam. If you get away for any length of time, borrow one if you don't have one. "Cool" food after a few days will mean TP shortage for your crew.

I bought one back in April. First, they are true to size. . . you buy a 50qt, you're getting 50qt volume. (whereas a Yeti is not true to size- their 65qt is slightly bigger than the Brute 50, but over $100 more expensive)
Quality, IMO, is as good as the YETIs- has every feature the yeti's have, but then add better latches, a ruler on top, dual drain plugs, and a cheaper price tag. They also have a wheeled cart that will plug into the bottom in the works, along with a few other accessories (divider, basket, etc.)

Even my best trolling efforts dont get 8 pages... Perhaps I'm trying too hard?

Between Yeti, Glock and Ecoboost theres a never ending supply of reuseable debate topics here...

Do some of you truly precool your ice chest before a hunting or fishing trip? I ain't buying it. That is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard. I am sure it works but I find it very hard to believe that any of you actually do this. I grab my ice chest, throw in some ice, and hit the road to go and kill something with the last thought in my mind being precooling my ice chest.
