FWIW, most Deere and Kubota dealers are offering 0% financing on all new tractors. IME, the used tractors that are worth a shite are damned near as expensive as new ones. Might be worth a look.

Agreed. And don't they finance tractors 10 years? Normally I don't like financing items long term but a tractor lasts forever

Yes. 30-40 hp does not lose value quickly. Unless your looking for 20 years old or more. Plus a new one will last most folks lifetime.

0% makes a new one attractive.

I just bought a LS 38hp, with hydrostatic. Saved thousands over buying the most well known tractors. LS has the best warranty in the industry, I did a lot of research and think they are a great value for the money. I looked for months for a good used tractor but found out like you, they are ridiculously expensive. Just FYI, might want to consider LS when you start looking.

My dad was in your position the last three years. None of the used ones were priced right unless they were ran hard. He bought a Mahindra 3616 last year with hydrostatic transmission, 4WD, and frontend loader.

0% financing and that tractor is a workhorse. Would recommend.

Agreed. Pretty much the exact same as what I found. Looking at the Kubota 38 hp, figured I'd ask. Maybe someone's wife stole the farm in a divorce and would sell for a steal. Some of the used ones on ebay I have to think folks are selling for exactly what they paid for them....15,000-16000 for 15 year old machine. Crazy. I don't like notes. That's just me. Thanks for the input
