How was your Memorial Day

Crabbed Sunday and then had to work on Monday while the wife and some friends went back and got some more crabs. Resulted in a nice little boil over here in swla

Visited family in Lake Providence, Louisiana.
Saturday - Cruised the lake, smoked some ribs & a Boston butt and hang out with some kick arse South Africans who are in country working on my cousin's farm. Drank way to much... Crown Royal Honey is the tits, baws!
Sunday - got a fairly late morning start thanks to Sat night's shenanigans. Fished a little from the dock, went to cousin's grandparent's for lunch, swam in their pool a bit, back to the lake for some more fishing and then ended the day with a fish fry.
My soon-to-be 3 yr old drove a boat and caught a fish, scratching off two of his "first-evers".

Fished Saturday Morning. Went bowling Saturday night. Spent the day with the in-laws Sunday. BBQ'ed some steaks with the pops and ate BBQ with my parents on Monday. Pretty damn good weekend.

Yep. Today is a wasted day at work.
Spent all day yesterday on the water. Anchored out by old Pontchartrain Beach. Swam, ate and drank (not in that order). Rafted up to some friends. Kids swam played on the shore, climbed the huge mounds a white sugar sand they have stockpiled out there, They also kayaked all around among the other boaters and were very intrigued by the twerking and other goings on....
I'm exhausted.

Played golf and got drunk sunday, and washed and waxed my truck, then watch bball yesterday/night and drank a couple beers. Good, relaxing three day weekend.

Caught some nice bass Saturday at Lacassine Refuge

Then caught a bunch of white perch at Toledo Saturday night, Sunday and Monday. Could have caught a bunch more but we had one trip cut short due to injury, then got blew off the lake Monday night
