Dogs respect an alpha. Explain to her that he craves guidance, and that he wants a job. If his job is to please you both and not jump, he'll do that to the best of his ability.

Threaten to send him to a trainer for 3 months. She will learn just as quickly as he will.

One thing I have learned. I own two dogs and my wife has a 4 legged spoiled baby. Hes gotten so bad that if you ignore him he fakes a sprained paw.

Just keep on training the dog. Unless it becomes a big issue let your girlfriend spoil the dog.
