Specifically on Friday. The videos of the flooding have me curious.

Storm minnows!
I've fished the days after the last couple tropical storms that have rolled through over the years and have had some of the best days of fishing. Water was high, but the fishing was on fire!
Wind forecast for the weekend looks like crap so far, but I would imagine the fishing should be good. If the weather changes and looks a little better in the wind department, I may try getting out there myself!

just checked wunderground. . . T-storms likely for the weekend with winds 15-25mph.
Friday looks better with no rain forecast, but the winds look like they will still be up.
Good luck!

That is what an old timer at work tells me. He says that the ponds that normally don't get flushed out under normal tides, get completely fresh bait, salt water, nutrients, etc. He said right after storms can be some of the best fishing their is due to super falling tide. Good to hear the ole man may be right.
If I yak, I'll definitely find some protected areas.

Fish get wet, so can I. I can handle up to 15mph winds in the yak, 20mph inshore in the boat.
My trash talk starts next week.

I want to fish Saturday but the weather will probably suck. Still might make a morning trip to the Pernt and kill some time if the weather looks decent.
