Peas and snap beans are blooming but are laid over due to all the recent rain. Looks like a massive jungle of vines with no rows showing.
Four short rows of corn, some of which fell over this week, but I stood back up. Not a sign of an ear yet, but corn is 5 ft tall.
Been pulling squash, cucumbers, banana peppers already. Bell peppers coming on.
Eggplant blooming and already have a couple small ones.
Maters about to start turning.

Tomatoes: Celebrity, Arkasas travler, pink brandywine, early Girl, Bradley, Cherokee purple, big boy, better boy, Sweet cherry and Roma. Early Girls and a couple Celerity got some sort of blight or something that's holding them back some, or maybe a little bit it Roundup drift d over them, but the rest are looking pretty strong.

Onions are done

Peas came up good, got annihilated in one night by deer. Happens every year. Never planting another

5 squash plants- 4 look good and are starting to bear, one had a cut worm mangle it a little

2 zuke plants looking good, about to start bearing

10 okra plants looking good

4 eggplant plants look ok. Got some bug damage

4 cuke plants look decent, starting to put on fruit

About 25 various pepper plabts that all pretty much look like dogshit for some reason. Too much water I guess

My garden is looking ok. Got about 40 maters of various kinds that range from outstanding looking to terrible looking. Same as above, hybrids look great, heirlooms are lagging. Too much water. The rest: yellow squash, zucchini, lots of peppers, lots of herbs, eggplants, okra, watermelon, and cucumbers are all doing decent.

I have a row of these that are loaded with beans already. Planted after the peas, which are just now blooming. Can you tell me when the beans should be picked? First year trying them. Thanks.

Im way behind in the game. With me planting just 2 weeks ago, will it effect the production or will it just produce later in the season?

They stay smaller than the Kentucky wonder beans and hollow out quick as well. I'd pick them when they are 3-4 inches long and the diameter a little larger than a pencil.

They produce way better than my pole beans have but wear your back out picking.

Many are that big now and very light green. Just wondering if they would turn darker when ready, or do I just feel for fullness. Thanks

My main garden this year is my hops. They are doing great! I have three plants, but one is far outgrowing the other two. This is the big one. I planted them about 5 weeks ago.

It's about 4 feet tall. The other two, one is about a foot tall and the other is just finally breaking ground sitting at about 2 inches tall.
