Little farther than I would prefer to drive, I'd hate to drive that far and only have a shot at a few pigs. Are you talking about 50+ hogs on a regular basis or just a small group or two?

Bleeding Purple doesn’t live far from you. I’m not sure is Texas is the same as Louisiana but in Louisiana you can’t hunt hogs at night during deer season.

I have suppressors and access to night vision. If you really want handle these things let us know.

I’ve never seen a group larger than about 5 to be honest.

The easiest thing is to make a trap OP, bait it with corn or any other mixed things, and shoot them in the trap when you trap some.

You can make a very simple trap out of wire fence and fenceposts in basically a circle, with corn on the inside. Takes under an hour to make.

As said, if its deer season you may have to obey some hunting laws. Not sure how it works in texas.

BleedingPurple is the man you seek. Search his user name. He has some great hog threads and goes into great detail about trapping them, among other things. He really knows his shite.

I don't think you have any chance of actually eradicating them. Your best hope is to make life so miserable for them that they leave your place and go tear up someone else's property.

If you can find those clay targets that are toxic to swine but not deer crush them and mix them with corn. I hear that does a very good job of controlling hogs.

Poor out a big pile of deer corn, sit and wait until they come to eat. Use slide fire stock and unleash hell.

Bury a few pounds of tannerite under that corn.

Find someone in your area with a Boar Buster Trap. THey are about $6,000.00 but are worth every penny we went in with the neighboring land owner and removed 180 hogs in 2 weeks! This trap is awesome go to you tube and watch the videos! WORTH EVERY PENNY!
