The adjoining land owner to our property that we hunt is planning on putting up a high fence on his property. He is put off by the fact that he has bedding area and we have food source. He has stated several times "we need to stop shooting his deer" when they come onto us. That's a different issue all together so lets not worry about how stupid that is. The facts are that this guy does not hunt and does not plan to hunt the 600 hundred acres. He is just one of those unhappy people with a bunch of money and a sense of entitlement. He has 600 hundred acres and plans to enclose all of it. I can think of several issues he is going to run into with this plan, but what does the OB think?

I think this dude is a total fricking tool if he is fencing in 600 acres just to keep deer away from ya`ll and does not hunt.

I think if y'all have the food sources that you soon have more bedding areas too after the dumbass builds his fence. Don't get in the way of stupid people doing stupid things.

I think the guy is a huge douche, and won't affect y'all in the grand scheme of things. Other deer will move in if there are the food sources there.

Is he some PETA guy or something? I don't understand how that would bother someone

If y'all have the food and he has the bedding, he'll be cutting "his" deer off from their food source, causing more harm to the herd than y'all shooting a few would.

Has he actually seen deer leaving his property to come to yours? Besides deer are property of the state.

The guys an idiot but in the grand scheme of things he will be doing himself more harm than good.

while it is a dick move, there isn't really anything you can do about it since it is his land.

The problems he will run into is if he doesn't hunt the land and/or manage the herd, lots of inbreeding...over population..and disease just to name a few.

This, especially on only 600 acres while not killing any.

I wish I could afford to put up a high fence for my property. I could raise dem deers and get ya'll to pay up to 20,000 bucks to shoot one.
